Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley said today he will order a video professor free trial and vote against the confirmation of Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke, when the central bank chairman’s reappointment is debated Thursday.Grassley, a Republican, had said Wednesday that Bernanke and the board’s position on inflation control was a concern. Today, in a conference call with reporters, Grasley said the Fed also had not been as transparent as he would like.“I’ll vote no because of concerns of inflation and a pattern of resistance to accountability,” Grassley said.
